ABOUT KAREN:
Karen is an author, intuitive energy healer, and musician. She studied and played music for more than 35 years including as a music major at Eastern Washington University. She plays flute, piano, mandolin, and percussion instruments and has developed a passion for sound healing, singing bowls, and bell metal bronze bowls and instruments from the Himalayas. Many of the bowls she plays are antiques from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, and all of the Himalayan bowls have been hand made by artisans in Nepal across multiple generations.
Karen is a Reiki Master-Teacher who has earned certifications and/or taken professional level courses in multiple healing modalities and divination techniques. She incorporates all of these into teaching, writing, and working as an intuitive energy healer. Courses she as taken and certifications Karen has earned include Crystal Reiki Master-Teacher, Animal Reiki Master- Teacher, sound healing Reiki practitioner, life and life purpose coaching, crystal healing, sound healing, Tibetan sound healing, vocal sound healing, Quantum Touch®, polarity therapy, dream interpretation, metaphysical healing, feng shui and the bagua, I Ching, shamanic drumming, aromatherapy, tarot, astrology, numerology, sacred geometry, meditation, and dream interpretation, among others.
Karen holds a PhD in Metaphysics and is currently working a doctoral thesis focusing on sound as a source of spiritual healing in order to earn her Doctor of Divinity (DD) in Spiritual Healing. She has written books about crystal healing, energy healing, and Reiki, and she teaches classes in all of the above disciplines at Vision Collective and in other locations in Washington and Oregon.
