My recent video audition taped by Tristan at Vision8Studio was the best one I’ve ever submitted. Thanks to the professional equipment in the studio the quality was a hundred times better than anything I’ve done at home. With Tristan running the camera and acting as my reader I had a lot fewer takes too. I could just focus on my performance and not the technical side. Levy Baltazar is an all-around fantastic Meisner teacher! He is passionate about the craft of acting, fully present with each student, and has a wealth of knowledge that he's eager to share. Coming to this studio was a breath of fresh air! I always have anxiety when hearing the words "self tape". Lets just say I am not the most tech savvy and I have not submitted at times because of it. After hearing that Vision 8 Studio provides self taping services I was overjoyed. I hit up Tristan and he got back to me right away. During our session he provided professional taping and lights and I knew I was in good hands. I could focus on the scene and showing the point of view of the character. I'm fairly new to acting and still figuring out how to audition. I've struggled with self-taping at home as the setup gets me flustered. I got an audition that required a reader and of course my husband is out of town and I didn't have anyone else who could accommodate my schedule. I decided to book a slot with Tristan and I am so happy I did! He had everything set up when I walked in and immediately made me feel comfortable. Without the stress of the camera setup I was able to relax and Tristan was a great reader. The audition looks great and it's the first one I feel really good about. Tonight I went to Vision8Studio's Meisner class taught by Levy Baltazar and I was impressed. The studio was absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend taking a class from this studio. If you're looking to learn Meisner in an inviting environment this is the place to be.

I was super excited to take the Sketch Comedy Acting Class, and it did not disappoint! Heidi Davis is a great teacher and obviously hilarious. The class was so much fun, and I liked that it was small. The studio space is warm and inviting. I will definitely be taking more classes here!

As of writing this review, I've taken two classes here: Adv. Character Development with Erik and the Monologue Audition class with Lydia. They were fantastic! Both were patient, knowledgeable instructors who connect with actors of all levels. Highly recommended you take their courses, even if it's just one class each (like I did) and not an entire series. Excited to take their classes again after I graduate from PSU.

I recently did a advanced character development class with Erik Montague. Erik is an amazing teacher. (I taught for over 35 years and currently work with student teachers at PSU and even though he is young, I know a master teacher when I see one!) He made everyone feel comfortable and gave solid advice that made everyone better in a very short while. If you're new to acting or have a lot of experience, you will be a better actor after working with Erik. I will definitely be going to his classes again and give him my highest recommendation.

It’s like having your own translator of an ancient secret treasure map! (Instructor) Laine Wagner uses her extensive knowledge of the Bard to inform with energy and flair. Why are some words capitalized? Why did Shakespeare use alliteration? What is a scansion? These, and many other questions are answered with such skill, it makes it all seem easy to comprehend. I highly recommend this class to anyone who would like a better understanding of Elizabethan dialogue. I could go on and on, but tis enough. Twill serve.
