"When a video game embodies the structure of a feature film there is potential for a unique scene study workshop! After playing this game and realizing the depth of the story and characters, I felt it was time to bring them to life. It's not every day you get to act out characters in a fan-favorite video game and this class provides that opportunity! We're going to test something new and exciting."

LIFE IS STRANGE takes place in the fictional town of Arcadia Bay, Oregon, where 18-year-old student photographer Max Caulfield returns after a 5-year absence. Reunited with her former friend Chloe Price, the pair will attempt to uncover the uncomfortable truth behind the mysterious disappearance of fellow Blackwell Academy student Rachel Amber.
While Life is Strange is a video game, it plays more as a feature film and thousands of players have raved about the storyline, characters and dialogue that they became emotionally attached to. These scenes in this workshop will be emotionally driven and students will need to be ready to dig deep in their performance as we tackle on-camera believability and character development. Due to the content, ages 16+ is preferred. I will accept younger by parent/guardian approval only. Characters in this series range from 13 through mid-50s.
